We had breakfast. Nice staff, reasonable quick service and wonderful garden. Only negative was that my bread was slightly burned, but all in all a good experience

Had a lovely catchup with the girls at Raymons at Willow Pond today. I really like this place it is family friendly and has beautiful grounds to walk around which has a relaxing atmosphere to it. There is a large pond with huge carp that you can feed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and tasty came out to our table in good time and with good serving sizes. I will definitely go back again.

I loved Ramon’s! I stumbled across it by chance in the new entertainment book app and I am so glad I tried it. The garden setting is absolutely beautiful, and you are free to wander through it and explore at your leisure. The staff are friendly and helpful, our orders were taken promptly and good was delivered soon after. We also didn’t make a reservation, and were surprised to see how busy it was — if you have a larger group I would definitely recommend calling ahead. That brings me to the food — it was sensational! I ordered the duck breast which was cooked to perfection — juicy and tender, pink in the middle with a beautiful crispy skin, and the fat had been rendered down perfectly. There was a lovely apple sauce to accompany it, garlic mashed potatoes and crisp asparagus. It was beautifully presented as well. My boyfriend ordered the open steak sandwich as well, which came with melted Camembert and very well cooked steak. The quality of the food was café/bistro style, but executed and presented as you would expect at a high end restaurant. To me, the prices didn’t reflect the quality of the food — I was very pleasant surprised. I can’t wait to go back!
