Good local place, has a variety however the waiting staff should just write things down instead of trying to remember my orders and get them wrong. But I love the fried ice cream !

Ah ‘V lounge’ a place that provides inadequate food quality. The hype over this place is unnecessary, there’s nothing special about the place that would place it on the big map, their chocolate is nothing to drool over, nor is anything else on their menu. the only great thing about the store is that it’s an ‘okay’ place to hang with friends. Food often tends to be bland and they often compensate for this through the cosmetics of the dish they’re serving. Very clever. In summary the store is only popular since it has no other competition there(literally).

The thing I hate about V Longue is that it gets away with being mediocre because there’s no competition. Besides a wallet full of cash, nothing draws the ladies faster to a restaurant than dessert. And we know the fellas just let the ladies have their way, cause nothing is more seductive than watching their lady friends lick and nibble on chocolate dipped strawberries… I digress. Ever wanted to know what a beached octopus would feel like? Well if you wave your arms around violently for 10 minutes to grab a waitresses’ attention, you’ve hit the jackpot baby! Hell you could sit down for a 3-hour trigonometry exam here and not be disturbed. Librarians, I think you know where to poach staff. Take note, service is painfully slow. But a divine dessert can make amends right? Not when you have limp churros, grainy panna cottas and a highly original fried ice cream. Yeah you could stay at home with a tub of gelato on the couch watching steamy late-night SBS and feel more instantly gratified.
