The removalist said they will arrive at our location between 7:30 — 8:00am, so I thought I would call ten at 7:45am just to make sure they know where to park and where I would be as it is a busy road. The person answering the call seemed impatient, trying to get me off the phone more than anything, telling me they would arrive no later than 20 mins time.
At 8:10 still no sight of them, so I called to see what their ETA is. I couldn’t believe my ears when the man got all shouty at me and go «look, what do you expect? It’s peak hour! They are coming! They will come when they come. They left an hour earlier!» Sorry, you guys are the one who actually gave me the timeframe and told me they would be there 8:05 the latest, so I didn’t feel it was unreasonable that I wanted an ETA. They arrived at 8:20am eventually, was a bit grouchy to start off with but did the job.
