Great spot for a big family-style dinner. Everything was fantastic and made for a wonderful first meal in Sydney. The restaurant has great service and is really generous with a complimentary soup starter and some fresh fruit for dessert. Crab: this is what they’re known for and we ordered two different flavors, Salty Egg Yolk and Singaporean Chili Sauce, both were great! Peking Duck: comes assembled and with the pancakes, not the buns. Wasabi Beef: tender and flavorful with a zesty wasabi sauce on the side.

Although the food was good, i think we would have got much better service had we not had a groupon voucher on the night. The white house wine that was offered as part of the deal was not available so instead of offering us a substitute we were told we could only have the shiraz, we decided to purchase a bottle of white, the service was very cold and we felt rushed. It was a 6 course meal but there was no where near enough food to satisfy us and we bought an extra dish, it was supposed to be king prawns with mince pork and flaked fish. Well it came and nowhere on that dish did we gond any flaked fish or minced pork. When we showed the description in the menu to the waiter his only reply was«it must be a problem with translation» now to top off the night, my favourite part was when the waiter carried a rather large still flailing about live fish thru the restaurant in a ziplock bag, when the waiter was right near me the bag breaks and yes, you guessed it, the fish made a run for it, i was both horrified and amused. To conclude I would say i don’t see myself ever going back to this restaurant.
