As a self-confessed Nandos-a-holic, I was sadly disappointed with this particular location. The wait time was a little too long. Then I realised why this was — they had taken our food to someone else. Never mind, the guy returned it to the front and then they dished the food over to us. When I asked if I could get a new one seeing as the other man had my food, the man replied ‘i’m sure he didn’t have any’. The chicken was cold and the chips soggy and old. I won’t be coming back.

I find Nandos generally expensive for a meal that doesn’t make me do any happy dances. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy some thigh fillets and chips with perinaise dip. But i What I do find annoying is the ‘spice meter’ of the basting suace is different at every Nandos I go, so I generally get the mild basting and they’ve got sauce readily available at the cutlery stands that you can add. The corn is also a good side to get. Most of the time it is super sweet and very tasty. The rice has really no flavour and the salad is not the most exciting dish.
