Round & Round Records

The mix of books and albums here is so delightfully eclectic, and so culturally god-​damn *rich*, that choosing what you want the most is actually kind of painful.
When I am a rich man, I hope to return here on my next Melbourne trip and buy everything in stock.

Gotta love a record store with super cute kitty kat! lots of cool records and i have gotta give them bonus points for a pet cat, who struts round like he/​she owns the place. props for that man!

When record stores used to only stock records, this place may have felt a lot like a small fish in a big pond. As the tides have turned and record stores turned into music stores, only to fall away again, it’s good to see some saying true to forms and sticking with what they know. Lucky for them, Round & Round really know their stuff.
Stocking a great mix of new and old, old and contemporary, be sure to look out for the independent Australian selection of wares present here.
They did branch away from records slightly, but into the printed word, with bookshelves taking up the upper rungs.
