I used to come here and I remember very long waits in the waiting room. There would only ever be another 3 or so people waiting to be seen, and always the wait was always at least an hour. This, by the way, is the wait you get when you’ve bothered to make an appointment. I only came here in the first place because my man had been to see a doctor here, and came home telling me all about her. Apparently she was so lackadaisical that she was practically nodding off as he tried to explain his symptoms to her. He found it all hilarious until she started to write out a prescription for him that was not at all appropriate for his symptoms. Naturally, the next time I had to go to a GP, it had to be her. I had to see for myself. So my turn came, and I have to say, she was a bit, um, sleepy I guess, and she told me some personal stuff that I thought was slightly strange but not inappropriate. But the main thing is, you could see that she was a really competent doctor and that she cared about her patients. I’m not sure what the deal was with her drowsiness, but her ability as a doctor, at least with me, that I was willing to put it down to a sleepless night.
