Whole Lotta Love

A bar named after Led Zeppelin is definitely a bar I want to be a part of! My band was booked to play here last Friday evening with a bunch of other awesome local acts and had the most incredible time!
Whole Lotta Love is an intimate yet vibey rock and roll venue with amazing artwork, great selection of liquor and beer with a cute little beer garden out the back. Its quirky, its fun and its definitely a great place to party!
Be aware– the toilets are unisex.

While the bar has a vary intimate feel, I was turned off by some of the staff’s lack of professionalism. One of the barmen was drunk and though the vibe of the place is cool the drinks were average and I wouldn’t recommend this venue to anyone I wanted to like me.

Despite living across the road from this place for over 12 months it’s taken me this long to appreciate this venue. It’s really quite intimate but full if personality. I’ve been in late a few times recently and had completely different experience.
One night caught a rocking band and enjoyed sitting back and listening. The next time was on an open mike night and my best mate grabbed a guitar and played some awesome tunes. They have cheap pizza, vegan ones as well for $ 5 but I’ve yet to sample. The beer is average at best but such a cool little venue I’ll forgive them. Think the best in offer is Brunswick bitter and one brewed for them.
I’m totally trying to plan the next time I can visit here.
