Salt n Pepper

Having only ever tried home cooked Indian dishes before eating from here, I’ll admit I was a little nervous when ordering, just hoping it wouldn’t be a complete disaster.
My first Indian take out experience consisted of garlic naan bread, butter chicken, chicken korma and beef masala. And I could not stop salivating at how good this taste test experiment went! As I’m a small person my eyes are usually bigger than my stomach and more often than not when I’ve finished a meal it looks as though I haven’t even touched it.
With this meal the only thing left was a tiny bit of butter chicken, and I ate more than I probably could handle at the time. I was really surprised at how fragrant the flavors were, and especially how fresh the food was considering Salt n Pepper is a shopping centre take out place.
What’s great is that you can see through to the kitchen and the two or three people operating the counter are also regularly cooking and replacing items in the bain-​marie which is probably why the food is so great. It’ll definitely be my new stopping point for lunch before the grocery shopping gets done!
