Offering a Cocktail Hour Wed-Thurs from 5−7pm and Frid-Sat from 7−9pm! The impressive cocktail and whiskey ranges are not to be missed, additionally the bar menu is not just burgers but also very modern and light options with some fantastic lunchtime food promos.

The Laneway brings cosmopolitan bar culture to the city, with freshly squeezed citrus juices, premium ice and an extensive range of back bar and first pour spirits. The Laneway is perfect to hide oneself and friends from the city bustle.

Offering up renowned cocktail classes and whiskey flights, The Laneway has it all for every occasion.

A large screen mounted across the lane enables films and television to be projected over the divide, creating a Laneway experience unique to Brisbane.

History

Established in 2009.

Motivated by Council’s plan to revitalise Brisbane’s inner-city laneways, Urbane co-owners Andrew Patten and Andrew Buchanan opened the Laneway bar in late 2009. Despite the source of its inspiration, expect no cosy recess or unassuming hole in the wall. Though its perch overlooking Spencer Lane is discreet, the Laneway itself is a slickly designed, elevated room affixed to the back of sister establishment the Euro (via which it is accessible) and above other sister, The Euro Garden. Patrons float between the two unique spaces.
