If your looking to get stuff printed its best to go at night after 7. The guy there Travis at the print station is super helpful and positive. The other workers during the day seem to hate their jobs and life in general. But if your looking for quick great service its best to go later at night.

This place males printing super quick and easy, plus it’s hella cheap.
There was a guy at the door when I walked in and I asked him if they could print out an email attachment. He hands me a business card with an email to forward to and shows me where to get in line. A couple minutes and a whopping 10 cents later I have my one page black and white attachment in hand.
This place is a life saver!

Unilocal keeps insisting I review Officeworks, so okay.
It’s Officeworks. You can buy printers and printer ink, office furniture, pens, pencils, paper, boxes, more bubblewrap than you can poke a stick at.
They’re not super fancy like some of the stores the ladies seem to like, but you’ll probably find most anything you need here.
The city store is in a dungeon, which is super exciting. Staff are generally helpful too, but you can get some big queues!
I believe you can do copying, printing and scanning, etc here. I assume it’s cheaper than uni rates, because it’s often full of students copying, printing and scanning.

Personally, I can’t wait for the time when my printer runs out of ink, or I run out of paper, or school is starting and I just need to get highlighters in every possible colour. Let’s not forget about the regularly occuring need to stock up on sharpies, USBs, notebooks, journals and staplers.
I have a self imposed ban upon entering Officeworks unless I absolutely need to. If I do go there, I need to have a guardian with me who will hold my purse. I am a stationary fiend. I can justify any purchase. Not surrendering to Officeworks is sometimes the biggest challenge of my day.
When they designed Officeworks, they had me in mind. They said «lets build a colossal multi-​level store devoted to stationary and home office needs. The office workers, the creatives, the students, the parents will come in DROVES. Just watch them.» It’s a brilliant idea. Who doesn’t need pens? Even farmers need pens. Astronauts, too.
You can get EVERYTHING you need from Officeworks– well, all the basics at least. Forget fancy artist pen sets, go for the Faber Castell set of 24 connector pens. That’ll do the trick. Printers, computers, iphones, ipods, phones, external hard drives and all associated accessories can be found here.
The staff are extremely friendly and really do like to show off their knowledge of the home office machines. «Oh, your Mac won’t recognise your external hard drive? Well that’s because X doesn’t…». Yes, you will have those conversations and you’ll love it because you’ll walk out with the right bits and bobs you need.
Let’s not forget they have photo printing facilities as well as on demand copying services. Ohh! The joy. The SHEER JOY of being handed warm paper just off the press is sometimes too much for me to handle.
Bonus points for the selection of chocolate bars they sell at the counter. Shopping does make you hungry.

I have been a fan of this Officeworks since I was in high school. I’m not sure if that makes me a stationery geek or not but I just love walking around here. This is one of those one-​stop places if you’re looking for home, school and office supplies. But more than that, it’s a fantastic place for cheaper printing. I had had to print out several copies of a manuscript for uni and I went straight here. Along with so, so many people. Sometimes there’s a bit of a line waiting for the printers so just be a little patient.
In regards to the place itself, I really like the location. It doesn’t stand out but there’s a clear sign out front to let you know this place is there. There’s a distinct smell as you go in but I can’t quite explain what it’s like. Something like cement in its powder form? I’m not sure but over the years I have likened this smell to Officeworks and I’ve grown to enjoy it. The two levels work well, though I do spend a lot more time in the lower level with the books, papers and other stationery are.

A trip to the Officeworks in the city is always a pleasure for me because I’m a huge fan of stationary and office crud in general. I don’t know of any other Officeworks in Brisbane that has two levels and an escalator. Not to mention an entire corner dedicated to paper shredders alone, or a rest area for weary shoppers, with coffee, tea, and comfortable seats provided for free.
The printing staff at this Officeworks are fantastic. Two of my friends had their Honours theses printed here and were stoked with the results. They were both visual artists and had very specific requests about having colour printing only on certain pages, and using different paper types in certain sections.
The printing staff member — a young guy I couldn’t catch the name of — was amazing. He picked up everything quickly without a second thought, and the documents were printed up and bound beautifully within the day. And this was on a day that was particularly busy — we’d queued for almost half an hour and the staff were apologetic, but they completely redeemed themselves with the product they delivered.

Photocopying from 7c… hello!
My husband and I run a small business, and to save a few bucks we usually photocopy some flyers ourselves to be letterbox dropped. Always here at Officeworks. For an extra $ 2 they’ll guillotine the flyers for you and send you on your way.
By far the cheapest photocopying around, by far the best range of office supplies for your business or home, by far the friendliest service I’ve had compared to other similar shops.
You can find 10 different types of post it notes here, heart shaped, star shaped, you can find art supplies for kids in school or home. You can find organisers and refills for those organisers and my favourite, the magnetic white board.
Anything you can think of including supplies for your office tea room — coffee, tea, biscuits and cleaning supplies… even bottled water — it’s all here.
Love this place.
