Oaks Felix

Great location, fantastic views of Story bridge, just a few minutes away from Eagle street pier restaurants! Stayed for two nights in a one bedroom apartment, it exceeded my expectations. Spacious and clean, very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. It made for a great time and I’d go back in a heartbeat !

A couple of friends of mine rented a little apartment in the Oaks on Felix for Riverfire and I was lucky enough to join them for the evening. I can’t comment on the cost, but I thought it was quite nice and spacious for a 1-​bedroom apartment. We fitted five of us comfortably in the dining/​lounge room and spilled out onto the little verandah to watch the fireworks. I can’t say the vantage point was amazing – our room was situated on the side of the building that faces into the city, meaning we could only really see the South Bank fireworks, but from a side angle. It was obviously a very popular place to come to watch Riverfire, as the lifts were already packed when I went up at 5pm.
For out-​of-​towners looking to stay in Brisbane City, the location of Oaks On Felix is pretty awesome, putting you within walking distance of the botanic gardens and all the sights and shopping that the Brisbane CBD has to offer.
