My Little Health is a welcome addition to Elizabeth Arcade. Hidden amongst the Asian restaurants and clothing shops, it has well priced health foods and an awesome dessert cabinet. I have to stop myself from having a vegan cupcake for lunch dessert every. single. day.

The Elizabeth Arcade is generally associated with Korean and Japanese curry. Rarely would you think to venture down the arcade in the pursuit of #smugtrolley purchases. That is, until My Little Health took their small nook and stacked it full of healthy pantry items, drinks, on-the-go-snacks and cupcakes. The cupcake thing sits a little odd for me as it’s certainly not the thing that greets you as soon as you walk in and it’s, personally, not what I’d venture into My Little Health for. None the less, if that’s what you want you can purchase vegan cucpakes or brownies from I Heart Brownies. If you are, however, a CBD office worker looking for health-food ingredients at reasonable prices then you’ll be bookmarking this spot faster than you can say, «rice cakes topped with sunflower seed spread with a side of Chia Mamma wild raspberry chia gel.» The shelves are stacked ceiling to floor and various stacks upon the floor themselves leave just enough room to wander and be sucked in by so much smart packaging. I was surprised to find my usual sunflower seed spread for about $ 5 cheaper than I’ve been paying at other health food stores.

This little shop inside the Elizabeth Arcade is easy to miss. In fact I only ventured in because I was lunching around that area and my sweet tooth was calling out for something … and the result of that was 2 visits in one week to this place to buy cupcakes. It has been difficult to not make a visit to this place a daily habit(I have to keep telling myself to not go if I don’t want to be a fat blob). Anyway once you approach the desserts section of the shop it is difficult not to buy something if you have a sweet tooth like me. The cupcake flavours are not boring and they seem to change the flavours daily. I have had coconut and peanut butter/chocolate. So good ! And bound to make your day if you like sweet stuff. Will definitely come here until I have tried all the flavours(but maybe slowly over time :)) It is a bit pricey at $ 4.50 each but that stops me from buying more than one at a time !
