Centenary Orthodontics aspires to create a beautiful smile by giving you specialist orthodontic treatment in a caring environment. At Centenary Orthodontics we provide our patients with the very latest treatment which is undertaken only by Specialist Orthodontists. A Specialist Orthodontist has undertaken an additional degree to Dentistry which is a speciality in Orthodontics (8 years study in total).

We also employ qualified Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants. Our friendly, dedicated staff will make you feel at ease and are qualified to answer your questions.

It is possible for both adults and children to have orthodontic treatment. We provide a variety of treatment options including braces, Invisalign, functional appliances and retainers.

Orthodontics is the specialised field of dentistry focused on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of problems with tooth alignment and jaw size discrepancies. Orthodontics can build your self-​confidence and enhance your self-​esteem by improving the appearance of your teeth.

Business Owner

Dr Elissa Freer is the Principal Orthodontist at Centenary Orthodontics.

Elissa graduated in 1988 with Honours from the University of Queensland, before completing a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in 1997. She is a registered specialist orthodontist in Qld and has been in her own practice for over 17 years. Elissa is a senior lecturer in Orthodontics at the University of Qld, a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and The World Federation of Orthodontics.

Elissa will provide you with an honest assessment of your treatment needs and advise you when the optimum age to start treatment is. She will tell you if orthodontic treatment is required for functional or aesthetic reasons, optional or not necessary.
