Artistic Engineers is what started off as a small graphic design business has developed over the years, we are now specialising in numerous areas of work including printing, marketing and sign manufacturing.

Meet the Business Owner

Samantha S.

Business Owner

A third-​generation design aficionado, Samantha Somerville grew up being inspired by the beautiful creations that were conjured up at the click of a mouse in her mum’s signage shop.

One afternoon, Sam wandered in from school and noticed that the in-​house graphic designer was missing in action from her desk. Eager to experience first-​hand the magic that could be created on their old Apple Mac, Sam slid into the designer’s chair, opened up illustrator (for the very first time!) and proceeded to whip up a flyer even a professional designer would envy.

From that moment on (and after the stunned encouragement of her family and the in-​house designer), Sam and her artistic creations were inseparable.

In 2012, Sam founded Artistic Engineers as a way to further the skills she had developed over her seven-​years of professional work in the design and signage industries.

Today, she is happily exploring her passion for advertising and marketing as a partner-​in-​crime to influential design
