I really enjoy the food here, have had a few meals here but also go back to to the tried and true chicken Parma or the rock burger. Generous serves and great food. Service is always efficient and the coffee is spot on!

Rocksalt nimbly traverses the tightrope of mainstream. It is all it seems, being a suburban casual eatery with a menu that ventures into no unknown territory for an audience that lacks the desire for creative cookery and may want breakfast until 3pm. We visited with a big, noisy fussy group aged from pre-school to 94 years old. Rocksalt delivered big portions of unfussy food with cheerful service. Water and beverages flowed, staff were prompt with their orders and dishes arrived in a timely manner. Is it my kind of place? Not really, but it was fit for purpose for our gathering, with only a tiny whimper of complaint from the most stridently fussy. So if you’re looking for a café in a bayside suburb, consider Rocksalt to take the stress away from that teetering tightrope of pleasing everyone in the family.

A great little place to get a quick meal or some cake and coffee after a movie.
