Darren at Stop Masters is the most honest mechanic in Brisbane. Based on the North side this busy little shop is hard to get into but worth the wait. I recently had problems with my Rav 4 — it was making some pretty terrible noise and running like a hunk of junk!
I took it into the guys at Stop Masters and they gave it the once over. Initially the diagnoses was not good — there were major issues with the engine and they thought I may have to replace it! Expensive much!
Luckily, Darren used his skills to avoid having to undergo this costly procedure. He pulled apart the engine and cleaned it all out, he took pictures of all of the dirt and grime which had built up on the engine and talked me through the steps he had taken.
After all was said and done I was only out of pocket $ 800 — this was a great compared to the $ 4,000 it would have been to replace the engine! So grateful that they looked at the option that would benefit the customer most — not the business.
