Mcpt massage is a godsend for students such as myself. They have a student clinic that offers 1 hour massages for just $ 15!
The massages are pretty good and they are always very careful to ensure that they are applying the right amount of pressure for you as a patient. Do note that they don’t take credit cards, eftpos or coins here. They ONLY take cash — as in notes people. It is very weird, particularly the part about coins. I’ve always been tempted to take along $ 5 of the $ 15 in coins but have always been too worried that they wouldn’t accept it, so I don’t really know how strict they are on that.
I find the branch on Dorset road to be a little creepier than the other branches. The Dorset road branch is always super quiet and there is never any background music playing. The waiting room is huge although there is never anyone in it aside from me and there are two reception desks that are empty unless you summon someone with a bell.
For $ 15 for an hours massage though, I just put up with the weirdness. Sometimes I get a really nice masseur who puts me at ease with friendly chit chat but mostly I get people who are quiet and don’t say anything much.
