This is THEOPSM that I go to for several reasons: — I can get an appointment time easily. Anything from walking in to a week or more in advance. There’s plenty of appointments available. Out in the country town where I currently live I have to book an appointment a month in advance. It’s frustrating when all I want to be able to do is to see clearly. — When it comes to stock, the longest I’ve ever had to wait is a week. That’s prescription glasses and contact lenses. If I’m not able to be able to pick it up they arrange it to be posted to the OPSM store in the town I live in or post it directly to me. — There has never been a mix up with billing, bulk billing, or private medical fund payments and rebates. This is especially important because chasing up a mix up in this area is nothing short of a headache. — Staff are polite and attentive to my needs. I’m not sure how they do it but everyone is genuinely happy to see me or go above and beyond to help me out. What is more important that they have never let me walk out with frames that don’t suit me or beyond my budget. None of the heavy sales tactics here. All this on top of the OPSM guarantee and service throughout the country.

I can confidently review OPSM now that I am an experienced eyewear campaigner and have frequented several optometrists across Australia. Recently returning to Perth I am delighted to be able to offer my custom to OPSM Booragoon once more. I’ll run you through my most recent experience, receiving the typical customer service from their staff. Booking: On Thursday I made an appointment via the online booking system. Super quick, easy and efficient. I received an email confirming the appointment and then a text reminder. Eye test: the next day my eye test was performed on time by a very friendly optometrist. The test was thorough and we also took scans to ensure I had healthy eyeballs during my pregnancy. Even though I elected for new frames, they were happy to adjust my existing pair of frames that were uncomfortable and my sunnies which were falling off my head — both glasses were purchased from competitors but this was not a problem. In fact, the optometrist had suggested I try out the adjusted frames for a week before committing to the new frames — but I was in love with the Ralph Lauren pair I had tried on. Pick up: I was told my glasses would be ready by the following Thursday. On Tuesday I got a message to say the frames were ready to collect. I headed in immediately for a final adjustment and I was on my way. Payment: The receipt is sent to your email which makes record keeping super fast. As I am with BUPA I received 20% off frames, 25% off the lenses and then the rebate was taken off the already discounted price. I honestly couldn’t recommend OPSM more, and definitely suggest popping into Garden City if you live close by.
