It’s not often that I’ll use a word as powerful as sassy, but dear Unilocalers, consider the s-​bomb dropped because this salon is filled with it. And it makes coming here a complete riot (in a good way, not an April 1992 type).
I should first note that the owner has been continually operating in Bondi Junction for over 20-​years and, through a series of different events, has effectively Goldilocks’ed her way to this current ‘just right’ location. The clients have obviously followed, and the shop is constantly buzzing with warm greetings, urgent gossip and promises of imminent catch-​ups. It can’t be easy running a successful independent business, handling clients and also making your shop so warm and welcoming that strangers (like myself) want to shack up here for hours to join the party, but she somehow makes it all look easy.
Seems like tanning and waxing make up a large portion of the clientele, although I personally head there for their fair prices and expert application of eyelash extensions. The technician is a complete dream — which is important as she will be hovering inches from your face for over an hour.
