Every time I visit Sydney, I always do the Bondi to Coogee Coastal walk and then catch the bus to Bondi Junction and end up having the same thing for lunch — delicious sushi, edamame or salads from Kingyo Japanese! (I seriously need to try out the other eateries… haha)
They have a great visual display of all their sushi — organised, colourful and all packaged into cute takeaway boxes. I usually buy a few sushi rolls (salmon, raw tuna or teriyaki chicken) and I like that their sushi rolls are not served in single pieces (unlike here in Auckland).
They also serve a range of soba noodle salads with your choice of teriyaki chicken, salmon and tofu etc. plus rice paper rolls, edamame, hot foods (like tempura) and miso soup.
Service is always friendly and efficient, plus their food is absolutely delicious, which is why I think Kingyo has the best sushi in Sydney!
