Fever

Note to shop assistants: following customers around the shop pointing out things they’re already looking at does not make you seem helpful or attentive, it makes you seem either bored or suspicious and, if you don’t take hints that someone is happy browsing on their own, really annoying.
I’m pretty sure the young shop assistant at Fever was trying to be helpful but as you may have gathered from the opening sentence, overly attentive shop keepers make me feel pressured to make a purchase so even if I want something I usually just leave.
Thankfully, wanting something was not an issue as this shop is solely aimed at the type of 18 years who get all dressed up in stripper clothes in the middle of winter and then spend the night tugging at their skirt to make sure their muff isn’t making an appearance.
Note to girls: if you have to constantly tug at your dress to keep your breakfast covered, it’s a T-​shirt.
