A cheese room. An Italian maestro making fresh pasta. A on-​site bakery and aisles of carefully stacked shelves with international products, fresh produce and more. Harbour Side Markets is my kind of store — from the typography of the logo to the items stocked. Imagine James Street Markets but in the midst of industrial Harbourtown /​Helensvale.
I grabbed a small salad ($ 4.90) from the deli (a mix of beetroot, pumpkin and pinenut & pear, walnut and fetta) which was ample for a late lunch. It was fresh enough, but the ingredients that should have made each salad stand out was missing in place of a lot of baby spinach.
