Without getting to deeply into it I’ve been to Ken’s 5 times this year. It is unambiguously a great place to get sushi — with fresh, delicious and reasonably priced raw fish innards for all. Now this is the important part — do book or you won’t get in and do not attempt to get takeaway without pre ordering in the phone.

This is the best sushi place that I have been to in Sydney! Was recommended to visit about a year ago and I’m now hooked. Extremely fresh sashimi, perfect white chicken breast rolls and delicious everything! The restaurant itself is quite tiny and always packed so make sure to book if you want to eat in. Very reasonably priced too! Love Ken’s!

I have been coming here for a long time. They have the best sushi. Always fresh and tasty and ken is a very friendly guy. But the rest of the menu is pretty average and not worth the trip. So I only do take away now. And kens wife has a bit of an attitude, or maybe she just doesn’t like me. But the sushi is worth it.

I love this place the sushi is always fresh and there is such a large variety if you don’t eat sashimi the service is great and its pretty cheap but if you go book cause it is a small shop and does get very busy

Delicious and supremely fresh sushi. We always get a friendly wave from Ken and great service from his wife and her team. Make sure you make a booking if you intend on dining on a Friday or Saturday, otherwise takeaway is an option.

Best Japanese I have had in Sydney, the sushi is amazing and I LOVE the beef soba. As opposed to lots of other Japanese places I have been to Ken’s uses really good quality ingredients. The service is great and they are very friendly. Make sure you book because they are always full!

My friend actually recommended I go to eat here, so one afternoon for lunch I happily agreed. The restaurant looked promising with a few customers already seated for lunch. The service was terrible with us having to wait over 15 minutes just to get our order, a group of men at the next table were actually laughing as the waitress passed our expectant faces and waving hands a few times before finally taking our order. However, the entrée was served quite quickly and the plain, not very appetising-looking tuna sushi was surprisingly very tasty. This unfortunately, had my hopes up for the main meal, chicken teriyaki don — which was dry and tasteless. My friend was also not very impressed with her chicken karaage. We both agreed that their only decent food was in fact their sushi, which unfortunately is not enough reason for me to dine there again.
