Best Japanese in the area. Top soups and good sushi with great seafood salad and gyoza. Very simple setup but we’ll run.

I love this place and am a regular here. The $ 10 avocado and fresh salmon large rolls are the way to go. With brown rice for an extra $ 2, they are the best value item on the menu. The $ 3 Edamame and $ 2 miso soup are also great accompaniments. The other $ 10 large rolls(fresh tuna is noteworthy) are also tasty and good value. If you like fresh condiments, you’ll be pleased with the home-made wasabi and good quality soy. All in all, this place is good af and I could easily see myself eating here every other day to the detriment of my health and family commitments.

It’s home style and very basic sushi. The sashimi salad didn’t have much sauce and was filled with seafood extender. The avocado wasn’t property chopped either. I’ve never been to a sushi place that served cheap seafood extender in their dishes. It just makes the dishes cheap and cheap tasting. Ordered the volcano roll which was cheap in itself with plain tuna not fresh, topped with seafood extender and lots of sauce.

So the name of this place is Sakura fresh sushi. Tick for sakura. They have fake sakura’s inside and their cups have sakura’s on them. Tick for sushi. Yes they sell sushi Tick for fresh? Mmmm I wouldn’t say it’s the freshest sushi and sashimi I’ve had but it was ok. It wasn’t bad but I’ve definitely had better sushi and sashimi at other local Japanese sushi bars before. Does anyone else find writing reviews for 3⁄5 star places equally as difficult?
