Home to the Canterbury Bulldogs and their supporters, Canterbury Leagues is the place to go for a night of good entertainment. It’s a beautiful establishment where you’re greeted by a massive water feature in the lobby that looks like a mini oasis. And that’s exactly what this place is — a mini escape. Restaurants, lounge, gambling, gym, this place has it all.
For those like me that choose to gamble once in a while, they have a fun bingo machine (electronic version) which lame as it sounds, is quite fun and much faster than the usual elderly-​ladies, meat trays and bingo stamps version.
Though I don’t encourage gambling — I’ve had a some good times (and wins) at Canterbury Leagues. Of course the complimentary soft drinks (yummy fire engines), cheese and crackers and Tim Tams might have something to do with it.
