History
Established in 2006.
Trainwest is a leading West Australian Registered Training Organisation delivering first class industry based training. Ann Marie Wragg and Michelle Munrowd-Harris established Trainwest in 2007, after many years working in the training and vocational education sector respectively. Trainwest began from a desire to meet the growing needs of industry, while providing a quality, affordable and flexible training environment that they had not yet experienced.
Trainwest delivers world class training through company and industry specific learning and development programs, along with a range of business and operations based traineeships in partnership with industry.
Trainwest has assisted over 10,000 learners to obtain their desired qualifications. Trainwest’s success can be contributed to Ann Marie’s and Michelle’s original vision which has now been adopted as our mission statement.
In 2014, Trainwest was nominated as WA Small Training Provider of the year.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
After many years working in various roles within the VET sector, Ann Marie co-founded Trainwest with Michelle Munrowd-Harris. As Director of Human Resources and Finance, Ann Marie provides both organisational and program support to Trainwest and its employees.
Ann Marie works closely with the CEO on the strategic vision, including fostering and cultivating all stakeholders.
Ann Marie is heavily involved with inducting and training of Trainwest staff; ensuring the effective management of staff is aligned with Trainwest HR policies relating to regular progress reviews and annual performance reviews, identifying and managing new funding opportunities and activity seeking new business.
