Great place with friendly stuff.
They have a great program for the kids school age.
And they spend more time teaching on one then a lot of other places.
I honestly recommend.

Fun, professional and happy to have a bit of a laugh– before they karate chop the smile off your face– that’s RKD Martial Arts!
I saw these guys demonstrate their skills at the Bassendean Boom festival about 2 weeks ago and they were intense. I’m talking knife attacks, sword displays and the usual «attack and defend» teqniques that inevitably leave the attacker winded and lying on the ground. (I believe that the blue mats were padded, but the sound of impact made my stomache contract)
The instructor, dressed in red was very disciplined and his karate kids did him proud, the finale involving a 3 on 1 knife attack (which I secretly mused, was perhaps the motivation for the sensei to be wearing red?.) The kids were captivated and as such we put their karate skills to use and attended the workshop a little while later.
These boys are only 5, but the senior karate student «Oli» was great with them. We wanted them to learn how to defend a mortal blow (below the belt) and although that wasn’t originally on the program, Oli improvised and imparted a world of wisdom on these boys. They may not remember it all but we were certainly impressed and keen to follow it up with lessons.
The Studio is based in Bassendean and the operating hours are Mon, Wed-​Fri 2: pm-8:pm and Sat 9: am-12:30pm (Tues and Sun are days of rest) Fatal fun!!!
