The Rookeepers are interactive wildlife demonstrators who

work towards conserving animal populations and the

environments they are found in. Our aim is to educate the public

on environmental issues, as-​well as giving them advice on how

they can make a difference. We are a mobile zoo that come to

your event and present an informative show which combine

laughter, excitement and education with some of Australias

scariest and cutest wildlife.

History

Established in 2012.

The Rookeepers mobile zoo was founded in 2012 by wildlife enthusiast Michael Church. When Michael was in Kindergarten in 1994 a wildlife demonstrator came into his classroom and brought in lots of animals, Michael said ” The only animals i remember are the snakes and the hairy spider they put on the floor” But the experience was one not to forget. 18 years later Michael started his own mobile zoo with the emphasis on fun and education and he now services the whole of Victoria for educational facility’s and Ballarat, West Melbourne and Geelong for Kids party’s.
