The Good Guys

Went here to buy a microwave, a printer and a home phone. It was recommended to me by my friends, and after doing some online research I realized that yeah, they do have pretty cheap prices!
The store is pretty big. The layout is a bit confusing though, so best to ask someone. For the bigger items, you’ll have to go to their pickup area just outside the mall.
Service ranged from OK to great. It was ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ in my opinion. When I was looking for a microwave, there was this older Asian guy who was kind of just looking around. I had to ask him to help me, and after punching in the order he pretty much ignored me. So I went over to the printers. While I was looking around, a younger guy went out of his way to ask me if I needed help, actually helped me, answered all my questions, and asked me if there was anything else I needed. What a huge difference with that other guy!
Girl at the counter was nice but seemed a little lost. I told her that I had two invoices to pay, one for the microwave (because the first guy didn’t bother asking if I needed anything else and closed it already) and the other one for the printer and home phone. After me paying for the printer and home phone she seemed surprised that I wanted to pay for the microwave too. Oh well.
Guys at the pickup were super friendly though, with one guy there carrying the microwave all the way to my car.
Generally good service, cheap prices too. I love their specials — I was able to pick up a basic home phone for only $ 24! Keep an eye on their website to see what’s on offer.

I was quite skeptical when I heard about the Good Guys. I knew they sold everything from tv’s to music systems and from dishwashers to blenders. But what I didn’t expect is the quantities they had in store. They had over 75 Televisions on display and an equal number of white good products. Their range of products is impressive. The various brands offering multiple models, all available on display is mind boggling.
Their staff are really good! I’m beginning to see the store name connection. They gladly demonstrate the different features and point out the differences amongst the product models and offer a good price without having to negotiate. The policy of pay less if you pay by cash is appreciated and recommended.
I stepped in looking for a music system but walked away buying a Hand Vacuum instead. I didn’t even know I needed one. Since then I have bought multiple items for my personal and home use from them.
My skepticism has turned into certainty that these guys are not just good, but Great!
