History

Established in 1993.

Our lead carpenter and director Paul, established Castlegate Home Improvements after moving to Perth from England where he owned and managed a plumbing business and a sports gym.

Paul started his work life in Perth with building hundreds of miles of fences!

The business services expanded with Paul utilising his expert carpentry skills into building timber & composite decking, patios, pergolas, car ports, timber & steel gates and picket fences.

Being a qualified roof plumber, Paul added all aspects of roof plumbing to the business services include everything from guttering, replacing down pipes, roof sheets or roofing entire roofs.

Over the past 20 years, we have build a reputation on providing good old fashioned honest service, reliability and high quality, personal workmanship.

Meet the Business Owner

Paul W.

Business Owner

Paul is the owner of Castlegate Home Improvements and our lead carpenter/​roofer.

Being in the building trade for 30 years, Paul owned two successful businesses in England (a plumbing business and a sports gym) and began Castlegate in 1993, soon after emigrating to Perth.

Paul is passionate about the outdoors and knows with all the space we have in Australia, the opportunity to be creative and all the sun, your home really has the potential to be your castle!

Outside of work, Paul enjoys rock climbing, mountain bike riding, surfing and taking time out to spend with the family. Paul also donates his time throughout the year to volunteering.

Enthusiasm for life, his business and helping people and their homes reach their best is what makes Paul tick.
