The Stables Craft Bar & Kitchen

If you’re the kind of guy or gal that enjoys a casual drink (beer, wine or spirit), in a relaxed but stylish atmosphere with easily shared bites to eat among your group then Stables is probably for you.
Bustling on a Friday evening but still able to hear the conversation with your table and not once having to raise your voice to communicate make this a fine local establishment to throw the week behind you and make a toast to the weekend ahead.
We stopped in to do just that prior to a show at Northshore Hamilton and easily switched on to weekend mode with a few drinks and share plates of food. From fries to wagyu beef sliders you’ll easily make a meal out of the variety of options on the menu. Note, there’s one rogue salad and the rest is more traditional bar food (code: some kind of deep fried).
Pro Tip: If you’re a laptop warrior they have WiFi. I can highly recommend treating yourself to a Friday glass of prosecco (they only have one on the menu and it is a treat) while you finish the last of your work for the week?

I greatly enjoyed the atmosphere at this new bar on Racecourse Road but would have hoped that the food menu was available past 7:45pm on a Saturday night.
