Overall a cute tiny tiny place. Coffee is good but had to wait along time for it. Food was good.

The coffee is poifect, the food — delightful. A small selection of foods but really hearty and full of flavour. You can’t complain when you have the choice of pairing your brekkie with an Oreo milkshake(milk is not a bad choice here, Ron Burgundy!) Union Road has some seriously awesome cafés to choose from, but if I’m on my own, I’ll always go to Grandpa Joe and grab a seat by the window, fill up on creamy lattes and watch the world go by. You’re generally helped along by some classy tunes and the Banksy-ish artworks that graces the walls within. Don’t go in a large group, tables generally cater for two inside and four outside.

Great food and great atmosphere. Love coming here for brunch. My only criticism is that the menu could change or be refreshed on occasion

It’s worth a stop here just for the banana bread! Consistently good coffee, great vibe and lovely wait staff. I’m a fan of the mis-matching chairs and lovely wooden tables. A lovely little local.

Grandpa Joe is kinda cool. Cooler then if my Grandpa had opened up a café. I’m ok with visiting a cooler more suave grandpa then my own. It’s nice to get a decent coffee and not have to tell Grandpa Joe to put in his hearing aid! I only swooped by for a much needed latte fix on a Sunday morning, take away service here was pretty swift and nifty. The general vibe of the place is Banksy cool. With spaces for two it really does lend itself to the hipster in denial market. We ll be returning to try their brekky menu soon.

Great small boutique coffee and food café. Excellent coffee, bonsoy, great food. The wasabi cured salmon with eggs and smashed feta avocado was delicious. All day breakfast and lunch.
