Nandanam Music Academy is Brisbane’s only Indian Music learning center to offer Carnatic, Hindustani, Folk and Light music under one roof. We also offer home lessons for your convenience. We have customized teaching modules for each student and offer only private lessons. This helps us to be focused on each individual. Every student is periodically assessed and changes to the study module is made accordingly.

History

Established in 2012.

Nandanam Music Academy is the brainchild of Ashwini Raj, who is a trained Indian classical vocalist (www​.ash​wini​raj​.com). The academy is a result of Ashwini’s vision to reinterpret Indian Classical Music, generate immense interest in the multicultural community and make the learning experience much more interesting.

Ashwini has been commended for excellent vocal performance since her childhood and has established prominence in the field by being a key artist at the Encounters: India festival, Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and releasing her debut album: «Invoc –the divine within».

Navin is our Managing Director, who gets involved in all the administrative processes and serves as the backbone for the academy. It is because of his dedicated hardwork and technical skills the organisation is able to run smoothly. Taking care of customer experience is his priority. So if you ever anything to say about us, good or bad, Navin can sort it out.
