I’ve been eating at Gulati’s for many, many years now and I have no interest in trying anywhere else. Why would I when these guys always get it right?! The service is always delivered with a smile, and nothing is too hard for the lovely staff that run this Altona institution. They even found time to run down to the local supermarket for me tonight when they informed me that they’d run out of my choice of drink! *bonus brownie points* You can’t go wrong with your meal selections here — especially when it comes to price. $ 20 will get you a curry, rice and two servings of the best garlic naan bread that I’ve put to my mouth *droooool* The tandoori dishes are my weakness… If you don’t try the tandoori mushrooms then you really are missing out. The owner, Sonny, should be so proud of how far Gulati’s has come over the last 6 – 8 years. Many shops have closed in the Harrington Square precinct, but Gulati’s has stood the test of time and remained a western suburbs gem. Good for groups, couples or singles. The staff will always have a chat with you if you’re on your own :)
