If you are looking for a GUL with personality, the one in Alexander heights is it.
Gosh, the price of petrol is up there with the weather these days (in terms of the hight of it– and the cliché topic of conversation) but more often I find that I am leaving the coles and woolies vouchers at home and finding a GUL to fuel me. Having recently discovered this servo, on the corner of the Alexander Heights shops, I am delighted with the atmosphere.. . atmosphere at a servo? Sounds odd but this is a place where the girls at the scouter regularly make OHS announcements «Could the man at bowser 6 please shut the drivers door– your door is open.» (That last little quip at the end is what got me, I am not a bloke, nor was I at bowser 6, but this announcement sparked me to shut my door anyway!)
This price is on par with the ridiculous prices you pay anywhere for petrol (Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually my preferred to fill up) as always, try to get some juice before Friday cos the «weekend tax» is exorbitant.
