Great pizza in the ‘burbs! Delicious toppings (the salmon is a fave!) and a wood fired base, Claudio’s is definitely worth a visit.

This tiny pizza joint is located in the most unlikely neighbourhood. Tucked away in Alexander Heights we were looking for quality pizza with value for money and we found it. Claudio’s is family owned and Claudio and his wife make you feel so welcomed when you walk in. The massive wood fired pizza oven is always fired up ready to go. The pizza dough is light and fluffy and the crust has an amazing crunch to it that makes me wanting more. Cash only, dine-​in or takeaway, you can phone orders through prior to pick up. The dessert pizza is a MUST!

I’ve been to Claudio’s Pizza twice, one time I had takeaway, the other time I dined in. On both occasions, the pizza was nothing short of excellent, I have tried the Rucola (rocket), Carne (meat), Mexicana, and Aumm Aumm (Italian sausage and mushrooms) pizzas, and the Nutella dessert calzone. The pizzas themselves are made in the traditional Italian style, woodfired before your own eyes. This is a very mum-​and-​dad pizzeria, run by a very friendly husband-​and-​wife team, who will ensure your meal is correct to a T, quality and service alike!
Highly recommended for anyone who loves pizza, particularly traditional Italian style pizza!

Pizza here is pretty good. We loved it the first couple of times and then weren’t as impressed next couple of times but things seemed to have improved again when we last got pizza from Claudios. Great friendly service.

Five stars for authentic Italian style pizza! Loved every minute of the intimate family style pizza restaurant. Book ahead as it is quite small. Totally worth the 45 minute drive north. BYO and cash only.
