This is a great little op shop just around the corner from the Alderley train station. The craze for op shopping either hasn’t reached this shop yet, or they just don’t care. Staffed by little old ladies, there’s no ‘Retro’ or ‘Vintage’ sections, just piles of lovely old linen, books and homewares.
There’s definitely a community feel to this shop, don’t be surprised to find the staff engaged in meandering conversations with local characters, and make sure you have plenty of time to poke around. You might just find one of those elusive op shop finds of days of yore if you look hard enough.
