Located just up from Port Melbourne beach Hotel Nest is a trendy sort of bar that fits well with my idea of the area — being that people go out here to be seen.
It markets itself as sophisticated yet chilled which is pretty accurate to the general vibe of the place and if you take a look at the website this is a place where the beautiful women come and the blokes wear skinny ties and hats.
It’s definitely not a sport watching bar (as we found out last weekend when we stopped in for a drink) but if you’re looking for somewhere that’s a bit upmarket from the normal Saturday night beer it’s worth a look — I just wouldn’t come here every weekend.
Remember your glad rags, not just your rags.
