Cozy Corner Cafe & Store

Decided to take a sunday drive when we heard about the gold plate win for the poached egg brecky .
Spot on, great dish.
Then i found the sticky date cake!!! The best in australia bar none.
The tea for one came in a large iron pot 4 cups worth and was great.
Rain water, thin cup, handle big enough to fit your fingers through.
Could have sat there (inside or out) all day.
Well worth the effort to travel the 20 odd km from albany.
Put it on the must list.

It is quite easy to drive past and miss Cozy Corner Café, in fact we almost did, managing to stop and pull in just in time. It is tucked away among the trees along the side of a field of crops. It is a beautiful place to escape to, just down the road from Cozy Corner beach where you can enjoy some waves for surfing, or a long walk along the beach, after which coming for a freshly roasted coffee, or freshly squeezed loose leaf tea is perfect! They are open breakfast, lunch and dinner, and using local produce they create an amazing menu which ranges from woodfired pizzas to thai food and of course seafood. The owners and staff are so friendly and help create a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It is very easy to while away an afternoon here, enjoying endless cups of tea in the dappled sunlight chatting with friends, in fact I’d suggest you do just that!
