Hot salted cashews – terribly bad but terribly good.
Roasted (and raw) almonds – always fresh and full of flavour.
You ought not go nuts (ha!) anywhere else. The Adelaide Nut is a real nut shop. The best nut shop. Helpful service. Fair prices.
++++ VEGAN FRIENDLINESS — Almost everything – save some of the honey and chocolate coated varieties – are vegan.

This is the only stall in the Adelaide Central Markets that does hot nuts! What a delicious and healthy snack they make, although I’m a little too fond of the salted variety to truly appreciate the health benefits!
I also pick up figs, mixed fruit and large packets of almonds, etc for the pantry here. Some of the prices are very competitive, so take advantage of the smorgasboard that is the markets and skim the cream from the top.

The Adelaide Nut is a real nut shop.
Through glass fronted paneling, a vista of nuts is presented. Macadamias, walnuts, pecans and cashews. Peanuts in the skin, out of the skin, salted or plain roasted or chocolate coated.
There is a broad selection of mixed nuts, my favorite being the Mexican mix, as well as rice snacks, dried fruit, and assorted lollies.
They do really good gift selections here, which are nicely packaged with cellophane and ribbons and come in various sizes ranging from large baskets to small packages.
They also do a selection of health snacks as well.
