At ONiA we are committed to providing the utmost care for our patients, creating beautiful smiles, maximising dental function and achieving the best results possible.

Our orthodontists are fully accredited specialists and treat our patients exclusively using the most advanced techniques available. We assist in the management of a whole range of orthodontic problems such as crowded and crooked teeth, spaced and gappy smiles, underbite, overbite, crossbites, protrusive (bucky) teeth, uneven smiles, facial deformities, sleep apnea and other various malocclusions. Apart from the use of traditional metal braces, we also provide aesthetic ceramic braces, Invisalign, growth plates (functional appliance), removable plates, expansion frames and plates, combined braces /​jaw surgery, and lingual (hidden) braces. We care for both adults and children as individuals and enjoy creating trusting relationships during the course of treatment and post treatment care.

We have 9 locations across South Australia including Adelaide CBD, Ceduna, McLaren Vale, Mount Barker, Murray Bridge, Port Augusta, Semaphore, Victor Harbor, and Whyalla.

Both our clinical and administrative staff members work as a dedicated team and take pride in creating a caring, efficient environment. History

Established in 1978.

Originally established by Dr Ian Dunstan and Dr Guy Burnett. It was later joined by Dr Tony Barber, Dr Eden Lau and Dr James Moses.

Meet the Business Owner

Eden L.

Business Owner

Dr Eden Lau is one the partners in our practice. Dr Lau holds many professional qualifications at the University of Adelaide and also internationally. He is a full member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Orthodontist. Dr Lau has been continually involved with dental education in Australia and has held various positions at the University of Adelaide such as clinical tutor, clinical examiner and subject co-​coordinator. Dr Lau currently holds a position of Visiting Specialist Consultant at the Adelaide Dental Hospital. Dr Lau has authored a dental research article published in specialist journal and also writes a weekly dental column in an Adelaide newspaper. He is also bilingual and speaks fluent Cantonese.
