Since being founded by Tammy May in 1999, MyBudget has grown into a national organisation and household name. Tammy is renowned as one of Australia’s leading personal budgeting experts and her business achievements have been recognised in numerous awards.

Business Owner

Tammy May is MyBudget’s founder and director, and has grown MyBudget into a national company, receiving many awards along the way. She was appointed to the BankSA advisory board in 2012, and listed by International Business Times Australia in their 100 Women of Influence Awards in the same year. She made SmartCompany’s 2010 Top Female Entrepreneur list at spot 32, and in 2008 she won the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the central region’s young entrepreneur category. In 2007, Tammy was Telstra’s South Australian Business Woman of the Year, and also won the Yellow Business Owner Award and the Australian Government Business Innovation Award.
