give me your citrus tarts and I am a happy woman forever. I love Dough! lovely service and they are selling an amazing product made with love :) I have been coming to dough for years. I also love how many of their goods are baked fresh on site on their adjacent bakery.

There is no disagreement here, Dough is fantastic, the baked goods consistently delicious, and the service always prompt. I can only truly comment on the sweet treats, of which I have sampled MANY. I visit this stall every time I’m in the markets, and am rarely disappointed. The only piece I didn’t hugely like was the pesto and ricotta muffin, aa there was only one small chunk of ricotta on the top, and none throughout. This left it rather dry, and there wasn’t a lot of flavour. Beyond the muffin however, I’m a hopeless lover of their apple and pear danishes. They have to be some of the nicest I’ve had. The pastry is soft, sweet and perfectly cooked, and the fruit filling is spiced just perfectly to maintain the fruit’s flavour while adding a lovely balance to the sweetness. AND they’re shaped like the fruits, like little apples and pears. Adorable. Like I needed any more encouragement!

I agree, Dough is a great bakery/patisserie. I love their sough dough, it is properly fermented sough dough, not just a premix with some vinegar thrown in like some chain bakeries I will not mention do. It’s a little more expensive than you average bakery, but I don’t mind paying when I can see how much work has gone into their foods. The tarts are amazing. The shell is so crisp and buttery. Not at all soggy by the filling. I love their fruit flans, a tart brushed with chocolate, filled with crème patissere, and topped with fresh fruit, and finally glazed. So so good.

Dough, is another Central Market treasure. It is a bakery/patisserie and everything I have had from here has been superb. It is somewhat expensive but worth the occasional indulgence. The breads look amazing and they are well known for their sour dough and artisan style breads. They also bake pretzels, cheese sticks and cater for gluten free. Most of the produce is baked on site so you know that it it fresh. What probably keeps me coming back here is the most exquisite tarts that I have tasted outside of Paris. My two favourites are the strawberry cream and the chocolate tart with pistachio cream. If you are planning a special occasion, or needing to take something for dessert to a dinner party I would absolutely recommend buying the cake sized version of these tarts: You will certainly be invited back.
