Wow — what a great lunch spot on the Rundle Mall. If you are looking for a basic snack/lunch, with no fanfare and a price to match, then Combeeze is your go to place. From memory you can get a cheese toastie and a drink for some change. I bought the nutella toastie and a raspberry ice drink and it filled the hole in my tummy for a few hours. They also have a great ‘pay it forward’ programme to help feed those not so lucky. What a find!

Extra cheese, amazingly good and only cost $ 2.5. The cheese is sloping from the golden bread and will melt in your mouth, definitely enjoy it when hot and fresh. Also good to go with a cup of hot or iced coffee. I’ve seen the Combeeze van drive down on Grenfell St near East end for several times, both early morning and late afternoon. Seeing this cute mini van driving from the sunrise or to the sunset always make me feel I’m in a cartoon film, and also give me a feeling that: they work hard and happily! Who don’t want their food made by happy and hardworking people! The simplest snake always deeply attracted me, sometimes it triggers more feelings to me more than a big feast. Love it, will be a fan forever.

Who says there isn’t cheap easy eats in the CBD?! $ 2 for a cheese toastie $ 4 with a softie $ 3 for cheese and ham $ 5 with a softie Hits he spot perfectly and it’s all brought to you in Rundle Mall by a cute silver combi. They have a small area to «dine in», umbrellas for shade and they also serve Lavazza coffee. You can even supe up your sanga with extras like tomato or BBQ sauce.

Amongst the mall renovation detritus and even on a gloomy Winter day, you can’t miss the shiny silver Combi serving up fast, simple and delicious cheese toasties. $ 2 will get you the standard, but an upgrade to business class, for only $ 1 more, will get you the deluxe ham and cheese. Sold at a perfect temperature, all smoky goodness with the perfect cheesey ooze factor, it’ll warm the cockles of your heart but not burn the tongue.

Found in the midst of the new Rundle Mall(one of the new concession food Vendors) you’ll find an upgraded old Kombi Van. If you see this and feeling a bit peckish, they’ll server you up a tasty Grilled Cheese Sandwich(with a choice of sauses) for a bargain price of a Couple of Bucks. That’s it on their menu, other than coffee and soft drink. Cool Idea
