Cibo Espresso

Even though these days I prefer a good hipster café (they just have that certain atmosphere!!), classics like Cibo are still performing well. This one is right opposite my work, so I come here when I’m in a hurry.
I have given them 5 stars because they make a damn good long black, and they double-​cup (that earns an extra star!). The staff are very friendly, and like all Cibos, their dessert range is vast.
Although the atmos is a touch lacking, I still come here for great coffee :)

The coffee shop that makes you feel like you are their number 1 customer.
I will walk past 10 other coffee shops to come here everyday (sometimes more than once a day) the coffee is always spot on plus they have a great selection of savory and sweet.
The only down side is they aren’t open ²⁴⁄₇ 365 otherwise I would even visit on weekends

If you want an example of an amazing coffee shop, then I reccommend that you come here for a visit. The staff are super friendly, remember you name, remember your order and always smile and laugh.
This business can turn a bad day good, by delivering Adelaides best coffee and some good old fashioned customer service.

Friendly staff and warm environment make Cibo espresso experience truly welcome and enjoyable. I recommend the «re-​use» cup jet a double stamp on your loyalty card and do your little bit for the environment by not having to discard the plastic and paper cup.

I have been coming to this Cibo for a number of years now. Besides the great coffee and food, its the staff that really make this place such a pleasure to visit first thing in the morning.
Pretty much all staff remember all their regulars names and coffee order. Such customer service is very rare these days.
If you ask nice enough they might even sing happy birthday for you. I’d take a lot to get me to change coffee shops.

I have a client in one of those new office towers with a pretty good coffee shop in the ground floor of the building. But I walk a few hundred metres down the road to this Cibos on Pirie Street. To go out of my way in heels, it has to be good!
Cibo on Pirie is a really great place to start the morning. The staff are cheerful and truly passionate about good service. I love the buzz and atmosphere as they call out the orders. It’s also a good place to people watching as everyone heads to their offices — some rushing, some meandering in no hurry to start their day. There’s an education building or college of some kind next door, so there’s always an eclectic crowd gathered out the front, too.
Around 8.30, there are usually plenty of tables and if I’m lucky, the Australian is sitting on a counter, eager to be read.
I’m a fan of Cibo already, but this is one of my favourites.
