Cabaret Fringe Festival

I have been meaning to write a review for this amazing event for a while now. Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival is a fine event put on by a very talented group.
What I like about this festival is that you will find the more quirky, interesting and a whole lot of talent! I am more taken with artists that are more real to their craft. Rather than the more polished and groomed. Although many of the artists that perform in this festival have had a lifetime of training, there is something more exciting about them? Maybe it’s their creativity? Maybe it is the raw natural talent? Maybe it is that they can be a little raunchier than other more established cabaret? Or maybe they are just so much more real? All I know is that this is one of my fave festivals in Adelaide.
As for the past festival, one of my all time Adelaide faves Hans (The Boy Wonder from Berlin) always puts on an amazing show! Glitz, glamour, song and dance! You will never be bored watching a Hans show. If you have not seen him before, keep a look out on the next festival program. I am sure he will be on it!

Take a trip down memory lane! A true story about following your dreams! An Australian jazz artist leaves her dream job on a cruise ship to busk in Barcelona. She lives and works with some eccentric Russians who you get to know and love! An excellent show and Saturday will be their last time at this fringe. Don’t miss it!
