Views and property 5 stars. Our food left a lot to be desired. We decided to try some non-steak options which may have been our mistake(we’ve been traveling through Patagonia for weeks eating so much meat we needed a break). The salads were wonderful but the pulpo was very bad and poorly cooked and the pork was mediocre at best. The grilled veggies were okay but not charred as I had eagerly anticipated. The service was wonderful as was the ambiance and wine list. I’m sure the steaks are incredible. overall a lovely visit.

Francis Mallmann has really taken his style of cooking and integrated it nicely into this area of Mendoza. Siete Fuegos captures his ideas of cooking with seven different fires and using all of the natural ingredients from the local area to show us how each different technique can come together and form a cohesive dining experience. I was lucky enough on my trip to UCO Valley in Mendoza to stay at The Vines Resort and eat at Siete Fuegos everyday while i was there. On one of the 8 days I was there, I was able to experience Siete Fuegos dinner. Watching as the chef and the cooks worked in an open kitchen format. They discussed each of the seven fires and talked about what they were cooking and why they were cooking it that way. After watching them cook and talking to several others, we sat down at a long table to enjoy a more communal dining experience! I loved the culture, the food, and what they were trying to get across at the Siete Fuegos. They served traditional Argentinian food with a Francis Mallmann touch! I can’t wait to go back to Mendoza and stay at the Vines as well as eat at Siete Fuegos! Amazing, wine, friendly people, and incredible food… what more can you ask for!!!

We were fortunate to be able to enjoy a meal here while touring some wineries thanks to a local wine exporter that made reservations for us. We were staying in Mendoza(city) and arranged for a private car to drive us here and to a couple of nearby wineries. First, it is an absolutely gorgeous facility on beautiful grounds. It was raining the day we visited so we had to dine inside, but the dining room is lovely. The service is 5 star — our waiter was excellent and spoke English well. He also was more attentive than you often see in South America, making sure our wine glasses were never empty. Our waiter warned us that the portions were large, and he was not kidding! He recommended either ordering two entradas and splitting an entrée, or splitting an entrada and ordering two entrees if we were hungry. We went with the latter because hey — we were on vacation! For the entrada, we ordered the empanada of the day. Much of the menu, including the empanadas, are cooked in a clay oven and had the perfect amount of char while rich and moist on the inside. There were two in our order and each was the size of a baseball. Delicious. For entrees, my wife had the gnocchi and I went for the steak. Both were truly spectacular. Honestly, the steak was the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. It was huge but still an excellent cut and was cooked to perfection. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the gnocchi as well — best she’s ever had. We were too full for dessert, but the options looked amazing. If you can manage to get a reservation here, do it.

El restaurant de Francis mallman. No hay mucho mas para decir, cada fuego es una cocción diferente. La atención y la comida es inmejorable. Si venís a valle de uco no podes dejar de comer acá.
