Like most chain stores, this particular Brioche Dorée store is like the others. There’s nothing innovative about the menu or the décor, but it gets the job done. The service was accurate and fast, surprisingly polite and helpful as well. The sitting area is a bit cramped, with too many tables for the room but luckily I happened to go there when there weren’t that many people sitting down for the afternoon tea. There’s a really affordable merienda promo for $ 65(might get pricier as time goes by) that includes either coffee, tea or orange juice, and a pastry of your choice. The coffee is quite small, but I honestly just go there to stuff my face with the chocolate tartaleta(pie crust, chocolate mousse, dark chocolate coating and a single almond on top). I saw plenty of signs saying there was wifi, but I failed to either ask or find the password, so I just munched it off the McDonald’s next door. Nothing too revolutionary or home-made, but for those who aren’t particularly adventurous and want to stay away from the McCafé and Starbucks, Brioche Dorée offers a nice alternative.
